Mario Andres received his Ph.D. degree in Engineering from The University of Melbourne, and is currently working in dual roles as a Research Fellow in the School of Mathematics and Statistics, and a Lecturer in the School of Computing and Information Systems, at The University of Melbourne. Dr Asghar Moeini Korbekandi
Research Fellow
Asghar Moeini completed his Ph.D. in operations research at Flinders University in Adelaide, and is currently a Research Fellow in the School of Mathematics and Statistics, The University of Melbourne. His research focuses on new theory and algorithms for solving large-scale discrete optimization problems, motivated by applications in decision making under uncertainty, machine learning and high dimensional statistical inference. Dr Sevvandi Kandanaarachchi
Research Fellow
Sevvandi completed her Ph.D. in Geometric Analysis at Monash University in 2011. After teaching mathematics in Singapore, she developed an interest in statistical analysis and pursued a Graduate Certificate in Data Mining and Applications from Stanford. She is currently working on anomaly detection and related research areas. As an inter-disciplinary researcher, she likes to apply her knowledge to real world problems. Find out more >
